End of Summer

What have we been up to?  Getting in as much fun as possible before she starts school next week!  We went to story time at the French Legation - the beautiful place Frank and I were married just five years ago!  They've installed several sculptures around the grounds that are just the right size for kids to put rocks on.

We've been to the Children's Museum.  She spent a good amount of time sitting in the tiny chair in the tiny house staring at another little girl who was doing the exact same thing.

We took a day trip to Waco to visit our newest cousin Jacob (4th child of my cousin Lea and Jake).  Carla wasn't so interested in the baby.  She was all about her cousin Amelia.  She also carries around a small notebook for drawing, just like Carla!

We did a fun painting project with pal Sebastian that got them very messy.  Afterwards into the tub they went together to get cleaned off!

And we've been trying to get the last summer swimming days in while we can!
