This has to be the BEST Christmas EVER! Experiencing it with a kiddo brings back the magic of Christmas. We had so much fun! The week started with cousins Eva and Matthew coming over to our house to bake and decorate Christmas cookies. They were so talented! I'd hire them any day to work for me.
Then we headed off to Katy for more Christmas celebrations. Carla Ann worked on perfecting her crawling skills, usually heading straight for the Christmas tree. She took ornaments off the tree and pulled just about every bow and ribbon off the presents.

After Christmas Frank, Carla Ann, and I slipped off to Galveston for a mini overnight vacation. I hadn't been in ages and I'm not sure why because it was super fun! We walked along the Seawall, ate delicious shrimp gumbo, toured a historical home, strolled the Trail of Lights at Moody Garden, and rode the ferry.
