Dale Reunion

This weekend we traveled to Conroe (north of Houston) for a mini Dale Reunion, which is my grandma's side of the family.  Most of us hadn't seen each other in years and many of us met some of the next generation of babies and kids for the first time.  Imagine 11 kids ages 6 and younger running around, playing, swimming, and feeding the neighbor cows.  All the kids became fast friends and they really were the nicest bunch of sweet and friendly kiddos.  Carla Ann enjoyed watching the older kids and she had to adjust to not being the youngest one there.  She was getting a little jealous of 6-month old cousin Molly who was getting attention.  Carla mimicked her by lying on her back and rolling onto her stomach to make sure we were just as impressed with her.  Getting to see real, live cows was also a real treat.  Even after we left she was made the "moo" sound all the way back to Emmie's house.  But the highlight of the day was just seeing how proud and happy my grandma was to have all of us together.
