Smarty Pants

I just have to brag about Miss Carla Ann.  She was knocking my socks off today with her words!

First, she pronounced her name as "Carla."  Yes, as in two syllables with a distant "Car" and "la."  Not "Ca" or "Car Car" as she has been referring to herself.

Second, she was holding one of her ladybug toys in one hand.  Then she picked up another ladybug toy in her other hand.  She said, "Two lay-e bugs."  What?  Two ladybugs!!!  Putting two words together AND counting?!?!

Third, we were reading one of her favorite books right now, There is a Wocket in my Pocket.  I read, "Did you ever have a feeling there is a wasket in your...."  Then she chimed in, "Basket!"  I tried the next one, "Or a woset in your..."  She said, "Closet!" This continued for the rest of the book!  She knew just about all of them!  We moved onto another book, The View at the Zoo.  I read, "Rise and Shine!  Attention please!  Monkeys get down from those..."  She finishes it with, "Trees!"  Goodness sakes, she knew this whole book too!
