Trying to decide on a name for Carla Ann was quite the process for me and Frank. Even after she arrived it took us a couple days. It’s such a big decision! We knew we wanted to use a family name. There were so many good ones to choose from and close to a dozen names made our list. We finally decided we wanted to honor the two lovely mothers I have been blessed with in my life. Carla Jean was my mom who passed away from breast cancer when I was three years old. My dad remarried when I was five years old to my other mom Catherine Ann. Both moms shaped me into the person I am today and I’m so thankful to have them both. I hope I can be just as good of a mom to Carla Ann.
