No Bananas for this Monkey

So a couple days ago we fed Miss Carla Ann mashed up bananas in the afternoon.  No big deal for her because she’s had them in the past.  She continued her day as usual.  That evening as I’m about to give her a bath she throws up the entire contents of her tummy with amazing precision.  She managed to get it down my shirt.  It was massive and it smelled just like fresh bananas.  It seemed a bit strange since it had been over five hours since she had eaten them.  But we gave her a bath and put her to bed as usual.  In the morning she woke up with these bright red, chapped cheeks.

This is déjà vu!  Let’s flashback to a couple weeks ago while we were in Katy.  Same scenario – we fed her bananas in the afternoon and she appeared fine the rest of the day.  She played, took a bath, and went to bed as usual.  In the morning I find her completely covered in spit-up.  It was everywhere!  In her hair, on her pajamas, all over the sheets.  And she slept in it all night.  Her cheeks and entire chest was bright red!  I figured she was just red and chapped because she was rubbing against wet sheets and pajamas all night.

I may not be the brightest banana in the bunch but I finally put two and two together.  No more bananas for this monkey!
