At last week's doctor appointment he asked how she was doing with drinking from a cup. Oops, didn't know we were supposed to start that. Then he wanted to know about her pincher grasp and how she was doing with starting to eat table foods. Double oops, we are still just giving her pureed food. So we tested her out and she mastered them both no problem. We could have been doing this a long time ago!
For the cup she spent most of her time playing in the water. But I did bring the cup to her lips and she did drink from it. By the end she was pretty much soaked with water!
I put a baby cereal puff in front of her. She picked it up with her pincher grasp, brought it to her mouth, chewed it with her little teeth, and swallowed. And then repeated this at least a dozen times. She loved them!
Doesn't seem to be having any visual problems locating the cereal puffs. Isn't she cute and smart!
