| Wreath I made for the baby-to-be |
This weekend I hosted a baby shower with my friend Jen for our dear friend Kristen. We followed the advice of Kristen's father which is, "Why do, when you can overdo?" We went all out on food, gifts, cute crafts and well wishes for the baby, lots of friends and family, laughter, and love. We can't wait for the baby girl's arrival on leap year! My sweet Mom came to town to babysit so I could focus all of my attention on showering Kristen. Carla Ann has gotten to where she recognizes her Emmie and will dance with excitement when she sees her. They also worked on several words together. I swear that Emmie got Carla Ann to repeat the words "sock," "book," and "balloon."

Josie, you always throw the best parties! So much fun and getting to play with Carla (without any Niva distractions) was an extra perk!
