You might be wondering where in the heck we have been. Well, we've been busy celebrating birthdays for me, Frank, nephew Matthew, and godson Leo! Frank and I celebrated with three separate dates in one week (thanks to the Boddens and my sister for babysitting) including a paddle boarding board, a lunch date, and a dinner date. Happy Birthday to us! But the best birthday gift for me was that Carla Ann finally said "Mama!!"
We also had a great time celebrating Matthew's 6th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's. There was a misunderstanding on my part about his cake. Long story short, I didn't make one but should have. Next year I will make it up with something really over the top! The week ended with celebrating Leo's 2nd birthday - digger truck style! Fun times!
