Cousins and Grandparents

Carla attended her cousin Elsa’s baptism party this afternoon.  She also got lots of attention from her cousins Eva and Matthew, who each separately came up to me and whispered in my ear, “She’s so cute!”  Here she is posing with Elsa who is 3 months older.  Their outfits were hand sewn by Frank’s mom.  No, we did not stage the holding of the hands.  They really did it on their own!

Frank’s parents, aka Grandma and Grandpa, flew down from Wisconsin for the week.  Last night when they arrived Carla was snoozing away so they only got a quick peek at her.  She kept them in suspense until today.  When we arrived at the party Carla was wide awake.  Grandma Geck immediately scooped her up giving her lots of cuddles followed by a nap in Grandpa’s arms.  Here’s a pic of the happy grandparents with all the grandkids.
