Pastries and Parks
Today we went on our first family outing. We all piled in the car and made a quick stop at Upper Crust Bakery for pastries and coffee before heading to Shipe Playground in Hyde Park . I think I was the most excited out of the bunch because it meant getting out of the house and Frank was a close second. We didn’t even seem to mind little Carla Ann screaming and crying on the drive there and back home. When the car is moving, especially fast, she’s a happy camper but when the car comes to a stop it’s a different story. At the park, we found a nice shady spot, set up a blanket, and laid Carla Ann out. She was happy as a clam! As we are sitting there we realize it’s a really chilly morning and didn’t dress Carla Ann in enough clothes. So the time at the park was short but sweet.
