Yesterday Frank went on his first business trip away from Carla Ann. He must have said goodbye to her about a dozen times reminding her that he’d be back today. Originally I had some anxiety about being able to handle her on my own but Frank has been sick for over a week so I had good practice flying solo to avoid her getting sick too. When it came time for him to be gone one night it seemed like it would be a walk in the park. Sure enough, we made it through the night and Carla Ann was a doll! She can’t wait for him to get home tonight.
Carla Ann being a little troublemaker wanted to take advantage of Daddy being out of town and invite one of her boyfriends over. My friend Karol and her son Sebastian were sweet enough to come visit us yesterday evening. He was very interested in her head full of hair and she was enamored with his dashing good looks.
And here’s Karol. Thanks a million for coming over AND bringing the delicious Mexican Lasagna for dinner!
