My dear friend Kristen welcomed the arrival of her sweet daughter Kalla Marie two weeks ago. Oh is she darling! Carla and I were able to visit them today. We arrived right after Kalla had nursed which is when she's wide awake and ready to party. She has the brightest, most wise eyes and she just stares right into your soul and warms your heart.
Carla was so curious about this tiny baby. She kept giving Kalla little pat, pat, pats on her toes. Then she gave each of Kalla's stuffed animals a hug. She made lots of new friends today.
